Matt Schuster Unveils Raw Emotion in New Release, “Left Me In The Dusk”

Matt Schuster‘s latest track, “Left Me In The Dusk,” just dropped, and it’s as genuine as it gets. Collaborating with Lori McKenna and Jordan Reynolds, Schuster lays it all out in this one, sharing the real talk behind the song.

Reflecting on the collaboration, Schuster said, “Lori and Jordan are good people, and we vibed so well. This song just felt right from the start. Before we even finished it, I knew it had to be out there. Big shoutout to Chris LaCorte for bringing it to life. Grateful to put this one into the world.”

“Left Me In The Dusk” paints a vivid picture of the aftermath of a relationship hitting its expiration date. Imagine watching the taillights fade away into the night, and Schuster navigating the memories left behind. The banjo adds a layer of authenticity, grounding the track in the reality of love’s unraveling.

This release wraps up a solid fall for Schuster, with Billboard nodding to his laid-back voice on “Last Fall,” and his label debut, “Tell Me Tennessee,” snagging the MusicRow DISCovery Award in September. After two years of independent releases, Schuster’s tracks have consistently hit Spotify’s Country Global chart’s Top 200, amassing over 150 million streams. His songwriting skills were recently acknowledged with a feature on Bailey Zimmerman’s “Religiously. The Album.” with “Chase Her.”

Recognized as a Nashville Briefing Artist to Watch, Schuster is injecting a fresh, unfiltered vibe into the country scene. His songwriting wears its heart on its sleeve, and his sound effortlessly blends classic rock warmth with the raw energy of modern pop. Fresh off gigs with Ashley Cooke and a stint at the Ridin’ Hearts Festival in Australia, Schuster is closing out the year with performances alongside Kameron Marlowe and Dylan Scott.
