The Grand Ole Opry® unwrapped Nashville’s cherished holiday tradition, Opry Country Christmas, last night, launching its third season with the first of nine festive shows.

Joining Gatlin for each Opry Country Christmas show are esteemed Opry members, including The Gatlin Brothers, Riders In The Sky, Mandy Barnett, and Country Music Hall of Famer Charlie McCoy. Notably, the spotlight shone on the newest Opry member, Jon Pardi, who marked his debut with a stellar performance as the Spotlight Artist.

Pardi, a Multi-Platinum-selling singer/songwriter/producer, seized the spotlight with renditions from his first-ever Christmas album, “Merry Christmas From Jon Pardi.” The 12-track album, produced by Pardi along with Bart Butler and Ryan Gore, celebrates the joyous season with tracks like “400 Horsepower,” “Please Come Home For Christmas Beer for Santa,” and “Merry Christmas From The Keys.” The album is available for fans to enjoy here:

In a remarkable first for the Opry stage, Pardi’s spirited performance electrified the audience, adding a new layer of excitement to the Opry Country Christmas tradition.
