GABBY BARRETT Chapter & Verse Album

Anticipation Builds for Gabby Barrett’s Chapter & Verse Album with Track List Reveal

As the release date for Gabby Barrett’s highly anticipated sophomore album, Chapter & Verse album, approaches, fans are eagerly anticipating the unveiling of the track list for the record set to drop on February 2. The album, marking a significant evolution in Barrett’s artistry, is expected to showcase her most autobiographical and emotionally charged work to date.

Co-producing every track alongside GRAMMY-nominated singer-songwriter-producer Ross Copperman, who previously collaborated with Barrett on her PLATINUM debut, Goldmine, the album features guest appearances by Phil Wickham and Luke Combs. Barrett has also co-written nine out of the fourteen songs on the album and collaborated with industry heavyweights like Miranda Lambert.

Chapter & Verse includes previously released singles such as “GLORY DAYS,” “COWBOY BACK,” and “GROWIN’ UP RAISING YOU.” Notably, the album introduces new tracks like “Dance Like No One’s Watching,” a song that Barrett teased in an Instagram post last year, generating an overwhelming response from fans.

Diving deeper into Gabby Barrett’s songwriting

In addition to embracing her Country roots, Barrett delves deeper into the emotional landscape of her songwriting, offering an intimate portrait of her experiences as a wife and mother. The album’s title, Chapter & Verse, reflects the unfolding chapters in Barrett’s marriage, family, career, and overall life journey.

One standout track, “You’re My Texas,” a heartfelt ode to the Lone Star State, is already making waves. Co-written with Miranda Lambert and Hillary Lindsey, the song draws inspiration from Barrett’s personal ties to Texas, where her husband, Cade Foehner, was born and raised.

Reflecting on the inspiration behind “You’re My Texas,” Barrett shares, “When I think of Texas, I think of my husband and raising our babies in this beautiful state that we’re proud to call home. It was my first time really meeting Miranda while writing this song, and I’m thankful that we could bond over our love for Texas. I always enjoy writing with Hillary too, so it was a great group of ladies to be in the room with. This one just fell out naturally, and I love everything about it.”
