Country music fans have something new to look forward to as two talented Dylans join forces to deliver a fresh anthem. Dylan Scott and Dylan Marlowe have collaborated on their latest song, “Boy Back Home.”
Written by Marlowe, along with Joe Fox and Seth Ennis, this autobiographical track pays homage to Marlowe’s roots and his buddies back in Statesboro, Georgia. It’s a heartwarming tribute to the friends who have left a lasting mark on his life.
Marlowe shared the inspiration behind the song, saying, “The song came from a real spot. When I moved to Nashville, I kind of missed a lot of my guys I hung out with back home. And I feel like there’s a lot of songs about girls, but there’s not enough songs about the boys.”
The song captures the essence of friendship and the unique bond that forms among friends, especially those who have shared adventures and memories in their hometowns.
In a recent tweet on X (formerly known as Twitter), Dylan Scott expressed his excitement about the collaboration, writing, “Thank you @_dylanmarlowe for letting me hop on this song with you!!!” Alongside the tweet, Scott shared a video of himself singing along to the song on his tour bus, giving fans a taste of what to expect from this exciting new release.
