Antonio Brown’s X account, formerly known as Twitter, is back in the spotlight following a controversial tweet. It’s unclear whether Brown himself or his social media manager posted the message, which reads:
“Cracker of the Day: Zach Bryan. F**k wit da vibe #CTESPN @zachlanebryan”
The tweet has stirred reactions across the platform. One user responded, “@zachlanebryan you finally made it ol son,” implying that Bryan had gained some form of recognition.
However, another user questioned whether this acknowledgment was an honor, sharing a photo with the caption:
But like this photo clearly expresses, is it an honor?
This incident appears to be a bid by Antonio Brown’s account to capture social media attention following a recent rant by the country singer.
Zach Bryan’s Response to ‘Pink Skies’ on Pop Radio
The controversy involving Brown comes on the heels of Zach Bryan’s vocal displeasure with his song “Pink Skies” being played on pop radio. Bryan tweeted his frustration:
“This is fucked, I never approved this, why is Pink Skies at Pop radio?”
Is ‘Pink skies’ playing on pop radio?
Despite his concerns, data from Media Base indicates that only one low-power, non-reporting station is currently playing “Pink Skies” on pop radio.
The song is primarily being played on adult album alternative and country formats.
Luckily, the misunderstanding has been cleared by U.S. Radio updater, an online radio news platform, where Zach Bryan originally noticed the post.
“We posted that the song was sent to U.S. Pop radio as per this email we received. We referred to it as a “single” under the usual assumption that servicing is followed by a single push.”
The platform added, “We were in contact with someone from Warner today who clarified the wording on that should not have been “single”, rather just a song that stations could showcase. We are sorry for any distrust or anxiousness this may have caused once outlets began referring to it as a single.”
Bryan later responded to the statement, “Sorry for cursing so much earlier. It was a misunderstanding and I’ve been watching too much House of Cards on my time off let’s goOOO CALIFORNIA.”
