UPDATE: The body of Riley Strain was recovered from the Cumberland River in West Nashville this morning, approximately 8 miles from downtown. No foul play-related trauma was observed. An autopsy is pending.
The search for 22-year-old Riley Strain continues following his ejection from Luke Bryan’s bar at 301 Broadway in Nashville, Tennessee.
Strain, a Missouri native, was in Nashville for the weekend and was last spotted at 9:52 p.m. on Friday on Gay St. after a night of downtown revelry.
Authorities describe Strain as being 6’5″ tall with a thin build, blue eyes, and light brown hair.
Efforts to locate him are ongoing, and anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact local authorities.
A statement from TC Restaurant Group was released regarding Riley Strain’s Disappearance:
“TC Restaurant Group, the operator and owner of Luke’s 32 Bridge, remains fully committed to collaborating closely with the Metro Nashville Police Department. We are actively providing security camera footage and any other potentially helpful information to assist in the ongoing search for Riley Strain,” stated a spokesperson for the group. “Our thoughts are with his family and loved ones, and we fervently hope for his safe return.”
Luke Bryan Speaks out
In addition to TC Restaurant Group’s efforts, Luke Bryan, upon learning about the missing teen, expressed his concern on social media, saying, “Y’all, this is scary. Praying for his safe return.”
