Stepping onto the 2024 Grammy Awards red carpet, Kelly Clarkson exuded timeless charm in a stunning off-the-shoulder white gown. The three-time Grammy winner effortlessly captured the essence of old Hollywood, with flowing curls delicately arranged behind her left ear. Yet, the undeniable scene-stealer was her 7-year-old son, Remington “Remy” Blackstock, dashing in a red velvet tuxedo paired with a whimsical boutonnière crafted from LEGO.
Competing for the Best Pop Vocal Album award with her latest release, “Chemistry,” Clarkson faces tough contenders like Miley Cyrus’ “Endless Summer Vacation” and Taylor Swift’s “Midnights.”
Kelly Clarkson On Weight Loss
Opening up on a recent episode of “The Kelly Clarkson Show,” the 41-year-old artist shared a personal health journey, revealing a pre-diabetic scare that fueled her commitment to a healthier lifestyle.
“I was told I was pre-diabetic,” Clarkson disclosed. “I wasn’t shocked. I was a tiny bit overweight, so, yeah. But I wasn’t shocked by it. But they were like, ‘You’re pre-diabetic, you’re right on the borderline.’ I was like, ‘But I’m not there yet.'”
In an interview with People on January 3, Clarkson shed light on the positive changes she embraced for her well-being.
“I eat a healthy mix. I dropped weight because I’ve been listening to my doctor—a couple of years, I didn’t,” she revealed. “And 90 percent of the time, I’m really good at it because a protein diet is good for me anyway. I’m a Texas girl, so I like meat—sorry, vegetarians in the world!”
Clarkson’s move from Los Angeles to the dynamic city life of New York last year played a significant role in her fitness journey. “Walking in the city is quite the workout,” she shared. “And I’m really into infrared saunas right now. And I just got a cold plunge because everybody wore me down.”
