Nashville’s Brooklyn Bowl lit up with a blend of country beats and heartfelt generosity as MacKenzie Porter and a star-studded lineup took the stage for a night of music and charity. In her debut benefit concert as an American Cancer Society ambassador, Porter and friends raised an impressive $85,000 to support the fight against cancer.
“Cancer has affected my life in so many ways,” Porter shared with the crowd. “I’ve always wanted to be involved in something like this.”
Joined by artists like Dustin Lynch, Nate Smith, Walker Hayes, Lily Rose, Alana Springsteen, and Madeline Merlo, the evening wasn’t just about the music but the shared commitment to a meaningful cause.
“These artists are so busy, so the fact they’re here shows how much this means to all of us,” Porter emphasized. “Doing good, spreading love, and helping people is the reason we’re all here.”
The night featured fan favorites and previews from Porter’s upcoming album, including the recently dropped “Bet You Break My Heart” and the infectious “Chasing Tornadoes.” Collaborations and surprise duets added a special touch, with Madeline Merlo joining Porter for a one-night-only rendition of “Chasing Tornadoes.”
As the music echoed through the venue, the guest artists delivered their chart-topping hits, creating an unforgettable evening for the Nashville audience. A career plaque presented to Porter by Dustin Lynch marked a milestone moment, celebrating her six No. 1 songs at Canadian country radio and seven Music Canada Gold, Platinum, and Multi-Platinum certifications.
