Jon Pardi Reschedules Shows Due to COVID-19

Last week, country music sensation Jon Pardi had to reschedule a few dates on his Mr. Saturday Night Tour due to a battle with strep throat. Unfortunately, it seems that the universe has more challenges in store for him. This time, it’s COVID-19, and it’s not just Jon; it’s also impacting his wife, Summer, and their 8-month-old daughter, Presley.

In a candid and heartfelt video message shared on social media, Jon Pardi broke the news to his fans. “Just gonna cut right to the chase: I have to reschedule this weekend,” the singer announced. “Also, I now have COVID. Presley has COVID. Summer’s probably got COVID. It’s been going around my family and band and crew.”

As a result, three more shows are now on the list of postponed performances. The affected dates include a show in Nampa, Idaho, originally scheduled for Thursday, November 2, and stops in Missoula and Billings, Montana, set for Friday, November 3, and Saturday, November 4.

Jon Pardi expressed his disappointment, saying, “I was really looking forward to this weekend, but I gotta get healthy and rest.” He also shared his concern for the health and safety of his fans and followers, saying, “There’s nothing fun about this. I hate this. And I’m sorry, once again. I hope everybody’s safe out there.”

But amidst the unfortunate news, there’s a silver lining. Pardi has secured new dates for the three shows that had to be canceled last weekend. These rescheduled shows will take place in Abbotsford, British Columbia, Everett, Washington, and Eugene, Oregon, on February 15, 16, and 17, 2024. The original opening acts, Midland and Will Jones, will return to join him on stage for these makeup shows.

For those fans who were eagerly anticipating Jon Pardi’s concerts in Idaho and Montana, the singer encouraged them to hold onto their tickets. He assured them that makeup dates will be scheduled as soon as possible.

Jon Pardi’s resilience and commitment to his fans are evident as he navigates the challenges that life throws at him. We wish him, his family, and his crew a speedy recovery, and we can’t wait to see him back on stage soon. In the meantime, fans can look forward to the rescheduled shows in 2024, where Jon Pardi promises to bring his signature energy and passion.
